Biography and background
Baran D. Sumer is a professor and chief of head and neck oncology at UT Southwestern. After medical school at Case Western Reserve University, he completed otolaryngology residency and head and neck oncologic fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis. His clinical and research interests include cancer reconstruction, transoral surgery, molecular imaging and image-guided surgery.
