Verstreken studied medicine and orthopaedic surgery at KU Leuven, completed a hand and microsurgery fellowship in Louisville in 1999 and earned the European hand surgery diploma. His clinical interests include wrist disorders, nerve injuries and corrective osteotomy planning.
