Training format

Two years of structured postgraduate surgical specialty training at RCSI/HSE training sites; exact plastic-surgery placement and privileges depend on a suitable post and Irish registration.

Eligibility

Recognised English-taught medical degree, structured internship, national residency and exit exam, Irish Medical Council supervised-registration eligibility, specified English scores and nomination by a sponsoring body.

International eligibility

Open to suitably qualified international medical graduates from outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland who are nominated by their employer or sponsoring agency.
